Another App Family Wedding

Saturday night we celebrated the marriage of John Chidester & Sara Gates...it was beautiful.

The wedding was beautiful-the minister did a great honoring the Lord and challenging Chid & Sara.
We all headed over to the Mint Museum for the reception and to get our party pants on.
I LOVED laughing and reminiscing with the App Family. We talked about so many crazy times we had in college and tried to figure out why we did certain things?!?!
(how Adam painted his entire body at the Tupac Party, how my love for BFF began, all the people that lived at Straight Street, why Kyle thought it was a good idea to try to steal a 10 ton phone booth and the list could go on)

After a few cocktails & dinner, the dance party began. I probably had more fun watching people dance with Ellen & taking pictures then actually getting on the dance floor. But its okay because I had SO MUCH FUN!

The best part about the wedding was seeing the true & honest love that Chid and Sara share. They adore each other, the Lord and their family & friends. They make a perfect couple and I hope they are enjoying every minute on their honeymoon in St. John!

There are way too many pictures I wanted to share...so here are just a few of my favorites!(Click on the picture to see it a little better)

Spartan Love

It's true...even though T & E went to Mt. Tabor, I still love them.

Last weekend, a few of us threw a baby party for the Bruce family. I had just as much fun planning it as I did actually being at the party! All of us got to shower the Bruce's with love while also waiting for the big name announcement. T& E decided it wouldn't be a good time to tell everyone that they are naming their daughter Rebecca. (JOKE...seriously, just a joke).
The pea got some great books & gifts along with some AMAZING artwork for her nursery...compliments of the talented Kat.

The night was filled with great friends, food, drinks, cornhole, LOTS of laughter, many pictures and one happy Bruce Family.
We
are all excited for her arrival in November and can't wait to watch her grow up.
Thanks E for our FABULOUS aprons :)

Two Years Ago...

I got in the car and drove faster than I ever had in my life. WHY?!?! Because I was determined to make it to Nashville before Nathan Eric was born. (and yes I made it)

I just called and sang him happy birthday...Em said he danced while I sang. :)
He has grown up so much over the past 2 years and I can't believe he is going to be a big brother in just a few months. It's fun to hear him learn new words and figure out new things in life. I secretly love to teach him new words that he probably shouldn't say...sorry Em!

Please see how cute he looked yesterday at his first day of school (aka-MDO)

Almost Married...

We spent last weekend celebrating Kel Kel and her upcoming wedding! Kelly's parents blessed us with a huge house on the beach complete with an Olympic size pool :) We all had a fun filled weekend with lots of laughs and pictures. I will only share a few...the others should probably not resurface!
Please note that I stayed up until after 3am Sunday morning. Grandma can still hang...sort of :)

TYBEEEEEEE

This is where we will be in just a few hours for Kelly's bach Party...Tybee Island!
16 girls+one huge beach house+a night out in Savannah= say a prayer for all of us :)

Staton Family Vacation

I was invited on the Staton family vacation this year and I'm not sure I will get invited back...(just kidding mom!)
Mike's aunts, uncles and cousins rented a mountain house and we rented one around the corner with Mike's parents.
The location: Gatlinburg, TN...

Who can beat the beautiful mountains and AMAZING people watching?!?!

I enjoyed getting to know Mike's aunts & uncles and playing with his cousins. His cousins are really cute and such a hoot! It's always fun to hear embarrassing family stories...helps you get to know people a little better.
The trip was a great...minus the bear we encountered, bug infestation in my bedroom and falling in the river on our hike. :) Praise the Lord for a patient boyfriend!!!!

Here are a few pictures from our trip!
